In this book, Pogo is teased by the other penguins his age because he is so small. But mother convinces him that he is special because he is God's creation.

Children will enjoy this book with its fantastic illustrations. K.C. Snider does an excellant job in illustrating the story.

MY HOT AIR BALLOON

.

What would it be like to fly in a hot air balloon?

This story gives us an interesting interpretation of what it would be like from the imaginative eyes of a little boy and his dog. Come along and join them on their adventure and see what they see from the heights of a balloon. Imagine with them as they soar among the clouds.

This is a delightfully whimsical book, appropriate for reading aloud or for beginner readers.

My granddson, Joey was heard to say that he wanted to go in a hot air balloon, way up high almost to the moon. It was easy for me to go from there. Both Joey and his twin brother, Dan have inspired me with their neat ideas so I dedicated this book to both of them. It reads:

           " To my twin grandsons.

Joey, whose imaginations sometimes soars to the heights.

Dan, whose never-ending enthusiasm inspires me."

I

HE MANY HATS OF JEREMIAH PORTER

When each comes back with a different description of the new neighbor, they realize they still don't have the answers.

In The Many Hats of Jeremiah Porter five friends learn the curious truth about what Mr. Porter does for a living.

This book has a third grade reading level.

When my granddaughter, Sarah was about 5 years old, she told me she had an idea for me to write a book about lots of hats. She drew pictures of several hats on top of each other. I was intrigued with the idea and went home to write the story. Three years later, Shapato Publishing of Everly Iowa published the book (2010).
