Review of Shadow of Fear

In a heartwarming middle grade Christian novella by Janet M Collins, 10 year old Ben must lean to do his chores , get along with his older brother, and overcome fears of dogs and the dark so he can go to Christian camp. His friend Mary is wheelchair-bound and has a Helper Dog named Max. This helps Ben to overcome his fear of dogs. When Max gets lost, Ben is forced to overcome other fears as he continues to do ":what Jesus would do." Will it be enough to ensure that he will be able to go to camp.

A nice story for children who have fears of various things. They will feel "pumped" to overcome their own fears. Nice job, Jan.
